About me_edited_edited.jpg

Hello and welcome to Time for You Counselling. My name is Susie, and I am a PACFA-registered counsellor with a passion for supporting women’s mental health and wellbeing.

Based in the Noosa Hinterland town of Pomona on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, I am deeply committed to walking alongside women as they travel their own paths toward hope, recovery, and healing

I have a particular interest in working with siblings of people with disabilities - an interest shaped by my own lived experience. As the sister of someone with disabilities, I understand how layered and complex this relationship can be. How it shapes us in ways few outside this experience truly understand. For me, this journey has felt - and at times still feels - isolating. I wasn't able to find therapeutic support that truly understood the sibling experience. That's why this work matters so much to me and why I hold this space with deep care and respect.

My practice is grounded in trauma-informed and feminist approaches, recognising the influence of lived experience, relationships, and social contexts on women’s mental health.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative, with you placed at the centre of all conversations. After all, you are the expert in your own life — even when it doesn’t always feel that way.

For me, counselling is about creating a space where trust can grow, conversations feel safe, and you feel deeply heard. I place strong emphasis on your sense of safety, choice, and agency in our work together.

Together, we will gently and safely explore your experiences, supporting the development of greater self-understanding and self-compassion, and reconnecting with your own capacity for healing.

You are welcome to come exactly as you are — this is a space for reflection, healing, and time for you.
